CutLength

CutLength Planner

Privacy policy

Your cutting projects stay in the app's local storage. Purchases use Apple's store services, and you choose whether to share a PDF or contact support.

Effective date: 17 October 2026.

Who operates the app

CutLength Planner is operated by Saumya Gupta. It is a cutting-plan utility with no app-level account or developer-operated project server.

Your projects and local files

The app stores saved project names, stock and required-piece inputs, quantities, labels, units and cutting settings in a local database. In-progress drafts and preferences are also stored on the device. Plans and PDFs are generated on the device.

The app does not upload your projects to us or provide project cloud sync, backup or recovery. Device backups are controlled by the operating system and your settings; they are not an app-provided recovery service. Exported PDFs are readable plans and cannot be imported as project backups.

Purchases and Pro access

Apple handles store account authentication and payment. The app uses Apple's StoreKit services through its native purchase integration to obtain product information, make or restore a purchase, and check verified entitlements. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password through the app.

A local confirmation record contains the product identifier, bundle identifier, transaction identifier and store environment. It helps retain previously confirmed Pro access while the store is unavailable. The app does not send that record or a receipt to a developer-operated verification server.

Apple processes purchase and account information under its own terms and privacy practices. Store access is needed to buy or restore. Restoring the purchase does not recover deleted project files.

Sharing a PDF

PDF export creates a local file and opens the device's share sheet. You choose the destination. A recipient or service you select may receive the project name, labels, dimensions and other information included in that PDF, under its own practices.

The app keeps recent export files in its cache and attempts to remove older exports after subsequent sharing. Copies saved or sent outside the app remain under your control and the selected destination's rules.

Support communications

If you email support, we receive the email address and any message, diagnostic details or attachments you choose to send. We use these communications only to respond to and investigate support requests, not for advertising or marketing. Our support mailbox uses Gmail, provided by Google, which processes messages under its privacy policy.

Send a small nonsensitive example when possible. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment details or confidential customer/project information.

We review resolved support conversations and delete them within 90 days after resolution, unless still needed for an unresolved issue or a legal obligation. You may request deletion by emailing support.cutlengthplanner@gmail.com, subject to those exceptions. Deletion is also subject to Gmail's own backup and deletion processes.

Diagnostics and services

The app has no configured advertising, tracking, developer analytics or remote crash-reporting service. No over-the-air update service is configured in the reviewed release source. Apple may separately process store, operating-system and diagnostic information under its settings and policies. TestFlight beta diagnostics are distinct from the public app.

This support website uses no forms, JavaScript, tracking tools, external fonts or cookies added by us. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, with optional website analytics disabled.

Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, traffic data and request logs to deliver and protect the website, under its privacy policy. Disabling optional analytics does not prevent this hosting-related processing.

Removing data

Use a project's Delete action in Projects and confirm to remove that saved project record. In-progress drafts and exported PDFs are separate; the project-delete action does not clear every local file. The app currently has no single clear-all-data control.

Deleting the app through iOS can remove its local data; offloading is different and may retain documents. This can lose work, so do not use it as your first troubleshooting step. Manage copies you saved or shared outside the app in those destinations. Deleting the app does not cancel or erase Apple's purchase records.

For questions about support messages you sent, contact support. We cannot access or remotely delete projects that remain only on your device.
